After 18 months of faithful service, the light at the plug end of the AC adapter on rmy trusty 17" PB started to blink. It seems to be related to how the plug seats in the PB. When the light is out I believe the cord is still doing its work (according to the menubar indicator).
My questions are the following:
1. Have many of you experienced similar behaviour?
2. What's going on?
2. Is this condition worth getting fixed? (If it's just a flakey light and the cord is performing its power supply duty, what odds?! If it's making a short circuit, I'll vote for repairs!)

Of course I can't tell about yours, but one of ours had its green light broken for about 2 years, after it got "mistreated", and it charges fine. The light comes from micro LEDs sitting on a tiny PCB. I never took the time to figure out the circuit.
If it charges & runs your 'book, you should be ok.
